Voice Institute
The Adam's Apple (larynx) is the structure that contains our vocal cords (also known as vocal folds). The larynx is critical to our ability to speak and is important in protecting our lungs from inhaling foreign material, preventing choking and disease. Disturbances of the larynx, initially as simple as occasional laryngitis or eventually as serious as cancer, may lead to impairment of our lives and livelihoods.
With a combination of the most technologically advanced medical, surgical, and behavioral interventions, the staff at The Voice Institute is uniquely qualified to offer comprehensive care to the speaking and singing community.
